Delete your account and data

You can request deletion of your MUSUWA account and associated data in the app or from this page.

Delete in the app

Sign in to MUSUWA.
Open Settings → Privacy and Security → Delete Account.
Follow the identity verification steps and confirm deletion.

If you own a group or circle, you must transfer ownership to another member or dissolve it before deleting your account. The app will identify any required action.

If you cannot use the app

Include your registered email address or phone number and username. We may request additional identity verification to protect your account.

Delete specific data without deleting your account

You may request deletion of specific data while keeping your account, including profile information, messages, uploaded photos, videos, audio, files, and search history. Include your registered email address or phone number, username, and the data you want deleted. After identity verification, we will process the request except where retention is required by law or for security.

Data that will be deleted

Account identifiers and profile information, including username, email address, and phone number.
The content of messages you sent and access information for associated media and files.
Friend relationships, active group memberships, settings, device records, and notification tokens.

We may retain limited audit records required for security, fraud prevention, disputes, or legal compliance, and isolated data in backups that cannot be overwritten immediately. Such data is retained only for the relevant purpose and period, then deleted or anonymized.
